Almex Group Opening Manufacturing Facility at HTS
Shaw Almex, a multinational Canadian corporation is pleased to announce that it has signed a long-term lease for a production and distribution facility with the Huntington Tri-State Airport Authority. The facility will be a center for new product development, bulk material handling and conveying solution.
Shaw Almex has chosen Huntington because of its strategic location to mining operations and its skilled workforce. An additional benefit has been the pro-business environment that has been demonstrated in dealing with local government authorities. Shaw Almex CEO Tim Shaw commented, “We were presented with a can-do attitude towards business by the local development team and the HTS Airport Group.”

It is exciting to be repurposing this unique building which has a long history in Huntington and the airport. The skilled workforce along with advanced automation equipment will allow Almex to manufacture products here that will be exported globally.
