IMPORTANT FLIGHT UPDATE: Beginning October 1, 2020, every air traveler will need a REAL ID compliant driver’s license or another acceptable form of ID to depart from our airports. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA), the West Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and a few WV airports have been working to get the word out so that travel is not interrupted or disallowed after the deadline. Huntington Tri-State Airport is pleased to offer our customers affordable parking within easy walking distance of the terminal. Active passenger loading and unloading is permitted in front of the main terminal building – or you may take advantage of the first thirty minutes of FREE parking in the main parking lot. Cash, debit, and major credit cards are accepted. $10.00 fee per day. The parking lot payment machines accept credit cards only. If you would like to use cash, you should use the machine located in the east entrance of the terminal before exiting the lot.

What are the directions to the airport?
Huntington Tri-State Airport is located just off I-64 Exit 1 in Kenova, West Virginia. Click here for directions.
What are the airport’s operating hours?
The main terminal opens approximately 2 hours prior to the first flight of the morning and closes each evening about one hour after the last flight of the day has arrived. The airlines and car rental companies maintain their own hours of operation and may change according to flight schedules. The Airport Administration office is open 8:30am – 4:30pm.
Where is the airport’s lost and found office?
To retrieve items lost in the common areas of the airport, visit the Airport Police Department, located to the right of the security checkpoint entrance; or call (304) 453-6165 ext. 16.
What if I lost or left a personal item on-board the aircraft?
Please call the 1-800 number of the airline on which you were traveling, or visit their ticket counter.
Is Wi-Fi internet access available at the airport?
Yes, free wireless internet access is available throughout the terminal. For those without a computer, an internet kiosk is also available for a nominal fee.
Does the airport have an ATM?
An Automatic Teller Machine is located in the ticketing concourse next to The Landing restaurant.
Does the airport have skycap service?
Skycap personnel are available in front of the terminal and at baggage claim. Skycaps can assist individuals with transporting luggage inside the terminal and to the ticket counter. Skycaps are also available to transport disabled individuals by wheelchair to and from aircraft security screening locations.
Are wheelchairs available at the airport?
Wheelchairs are provided free of charge for travelers using HTS and are available from the Airport Skycap or your airline representative.
Do I need a boarding pass to get through the security checkpoint?
The Transportation Security Administration only permits ticketed passengers with boarding passes through the security checkpoint. If you need to accompany small children or someone needing assistance, you can make special arrangements for a non-flying guest pass through your airline.
Where can I smoke at the airport?
All areas within the terminal building are designated as smoke-free. Smoking is permitted outside the building in designated areas only. Smoking is not permitted once a passenger has entered the secured area.
Where can I find a U.S. mailbox at the airport?
A U.S. mailbox is located in the ticketing concourse next to the Hertz counter.
